Ali Pasha (right), the pasha of Ioannina who played for more than 40 years an important role in the history of Epirus and beyond, from 1788 when he was appointed pasha of Ioannina until the beginning of the Greek Revolution. The figure depicts Ali Pasha at a younger age in relation to his best-known depictions as an older man.
