Οι συγκεκριμένες φιγούρες παρουσιάζονται στον μπερντέ συνήθως για να μεταμορφώσουν ανθρώπους σε διάφορα ζώα μέσα από την επιδέξια κίνηση του καραγκιοζοπαίκτη.
